Emmy winner Hannah Waddingham and Oscar winner Octavia Spencer have shot the new action-comedy series Ride or Die to streaming success. However, it isn’t the only show proving popular on the streamer, with the likes of Off Campus, based on a series of books by Elle Kennedy, the Legally Blondeprequel Elle, and the new eight-episode YA drama Sterling Point just three of the biggest hits. However, Prime Video’s most ass-kicking series is back in business this week, ready to storm to the streaming summit. So, with all that in mind, here’s a look at three Prime Video shows you need to binge this weekend.
There is no better recommendation across all streaming platforms this weekend than the long-awaited return of Reacher. After a brutal third season, Alan Ritchson‘s titular skull-cracker is back for his most pulse-racing season yet. The upcoming fourth season will adapt Gone Tomorrow, the 13th novel in Child’s long-running series, which will include 30 fight sequences spread across its eight episodes.
Ritchson has truly turned Reacher into his own, turning a beloved literary character into one of the best on-screen action leads of the decade. Season 4 is already earning rave reviews, with Collider’s David Caballero writing, “Reacher Season 4 stays true to itself by delivering a fistful of rageful, determined justice that will have you cheering through gritted teeth.”

Starring Anna Camp, Genevieve Angelson, and Erin Darke as a group of researchers for a magazine called News of the Week, Good Girls Revolt dives into the personal and professional lives of the characters working in 1960s America.
Often likened to Mad Men, Good Girls Revolt is a clever, compelling drama inspired by real-life events and Lynn Povich‘s 2013 book. Featuring a stellar cast and immersive costume and set design, Good Girls Revolt was sadly cancelled at the end of its first season. However, this means that, with only 10 episodes available, Good Girls Revoltis perfect for a full binge-watch this weekend.

‘Overcompensating’ (2025–Present)

Who doesn’t love a teen comedy? Overcompensating, created by and starring Benito Skinner, is one of the best examples of the genre in the past 12 months. The series follows a hugely popular high school football player who makes the transition to college and is forced to come to terms with his sexuality.
A hilarious, touching queer comedy during a boom in the genre, Overcompensatingflies by with its laugh-a-minute scripts and superb lead performances. Boasting a near-perfect 93% score on review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes, this critically acclaimed coming-of-age gem is a must-watch this weekend. With production for the second season officially wrapping in June, Overcompensating will likely return sometime in late 2026 or early 2027.
