The excellent JBL Flip 6 drops to its lowest price since Black Friday

If you’re looking for a speaker that offers great audio quality and you don’t mind being a step behind the latest tech, we’ve spotted the ideal Bluetooth speaker for you. Today, you can buy the JBL Flip 6 at Walmart for $89.99 (was $129.95), which is the lowest price it’s been since Black Friday.

That means the biggest discount in nearly a year, given that Black Friday is creeping up fast. However, the discount is only on the Black model of the speaker, and other color variants cost more. That’s not a huge problem, though, as the Black one looks good in any location.

We’ve been fans of the JBL Flip 6 for a while, thanks to its waterproof and highly portable design, its 12 hours of playtime, and overall good sound quality. The nearly $40 discount is a great price cut to see outside of an official sales season.

The JBL Flip 6 was previously one of the best waterproof speakers around, only losing out to its newer model, the JBL Flip 7. The newer model is better, but as our 4.5-star JBL Flip 6 review explains, this is a “simple Bluetooth speaker that’ll make your music sound great wherever you go”. It has a “rugged and robust design”, and its only significant flaws are a lack of voice assistant support and the fact that there’s no charging port for your phone.

Otherwise, this will work well as one of the best party speakers, but also as one of the best Bluetooth speakers for your home, too.
