NYT Strands today (game #615) – the answers
The answers to today’s Strands, game #615, are…
- PORTAL
- ENTRANCE
- GATE
- DOORWAY
- INGRESS
- THRESHOLD
- SPANGRAM: LETMEIN
- My rating: Hard
- My score: Perfect
I’m pleased that I didn’t use any hints today, as this was a far from straightforward search, with several difficult to find words (I tapped out “door” and “doors” before finally getting DOORWAY).
The phrase “knock, knock” is usually answered “who’s where?”, but after getting PORTAL, ENTRANCE, and GATE in quick succession along the top of the board I knew we weren’t looking for anything to do with jokes.
Despite getting the spangram fairly quickly after my initial burst, I struggled with the bottom half of the board and it took me a while to figure out we were looking for INGRESS and THRESHOLD on our way to glory.
Yesterday’s NYT Strands answers (Friday, November 7, game #614)
- SAMBA
- TANGO
- SALSA
- TEJANO
- MARIACHI
- REGGAETON
- SPANGRAM: LATIN MUSIC
