While I might be spending a good chunk of my time hunting down the best Black Friday TV deals over the next week, I’m also devoting time to my next love: coffee machines.
And, as I expected, Amazon has slashed the price of the Ninja Luxe Café Premier espresso machine to just AU$629 for the stainless steel model. If you’ve been holding out on getting the viral-hit coffee maker, now’s a perfect opportunity.
If you’d rather nab another colour, Amazon also has stock of the Cyberspace option, which itself is down to AU$649. It hit that same price just a couple of months ago, so it isn’t as exciting news. Still, it’s an attractive model that will add some elegance to your kitchen.
Alternatively, you can go directly to the maker and grab either the Gunmetal or Black colours for AU$699.99. I’ve also noticed a AU$30 discount available when you sign up to Ninja’s newsletter (a pop-up should appear on your screen), bringing both machines to a more palatable AU$669.99.
If this viral Ninja machine has gone under your radar, then in essence, it’s a three-in-one bean-to-cup machine, capable of pulling a shot of espresso, pouring a cold brew and producing drip coffee. It also has an automatic steam wand for all the milk-based drinkers out there. Ninja states that this machine is “the ultimate guided experience”, with ‘Barista Assist Technology’ that coaches you through the entire process.
Essentially, no matter your coffee order, this machine is for you. Plus, it allows you to experiment with new drink recipes without the need for a full barista course. It also comes with single-shot, double-shot and quad-shot filter baskets, which makes it pretty handy at whipping up a few coffees at once – or one that will really wake you up.
While it’s sensibly priced in the world of premium coffee machines, AU$999 is still a hefty purchase. That said, our reviewer identified only a few reasons not to buy it: if you need to brew large batches of coffee, want a dedicated hot water line or are looking for a compact machine. If this doesn’t sound like you, or you’re simply swayed by the AU$370 saving, then you’ll likely want to be quick to snap one up, as they tend to sell out fast.
