This soundbar is ideal if you need a step up from your TV’s basic audio, as it delivers satisfyingly clear dialogue and clean highs. Setup is also super straightforward, and if you connect via HDMI, you can use your standard TV remote to adjust volume.

In my Panasonic SC-HTB100 review, I raved about this budget-friendly bar’s clear, well-positioned dialogue reproduction, its wide array of connectivity options, and its already top value for money.

Although it doesn’t support Dolby Atmos, you’re still likely to notice a substantive improvement over TV audio, especially if you’ve got a smaller display or an older TV.

Similarly, although this soundbar won’t deliver the cinematic bass that pricier options like the Samsung HW-Q800F offer, I appreciated how its bass reflex port subtly emphasized deeper tones in movie soundtracks.
