- New Netflix horror series Something Very Bad is Going to Happen drops first official teaser
- Stars Camila Morrone, Adam DiMarco, Jeff Wilbusch, Karla Crome as series regulars
- The eight-episode series streams on March 26th, 2026
The first official teaser trailer for new Netflix horror series Something Very Bad is Going to Happen is here, and it’s given us an unhinged glimpse at what’s coming our way on March 26th.
Starring Camila Morrone, Adam DiMarco, Jeff Wilbusch, and Karla Crome, the eight-episode show is described by the streamer as “an atmospheric horror series set at a wedding, following a bride and groom in the week leading up to their ill-fated nuptials. That’s not a spoiler – just read the title.”
Yikes. I’m already terrified by the first-look alone (which you can catch up with below), and I’ve got a feeling that it’s only just scratching the surface.
Something Very Bad is Going to Happen is already a Netflix nightmare for avoidant attachers
Let’s dig a bit deeper into Netflix’s full series synopsis. It begins “If Carrie is horror’s version of a girl becoming a woman, and Rosemary’s Baby is the horrific version of a woman becoming a mother, Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen is horror’s take on a woman becoming a wife.”
Already horrifying for many of us left on Hinge and Tinder. I’ve been accused of having an avoidant attachment style in my younger years, but maybe that was a blessing in disguise if the above is the alternative.
“Rachel (Camila Morrone) is getting married in five days. Together with her fiancé, Nicky (Adam DiMarco), she embarks on a road trip to his family’s vacation home, secluded in a snowy forest, for the intimate wedding ceremony of their dreams.
“Which really would be so lovely, except… prone to superstition and paranoia, Rachel can’t shake the relentless feeling that something bad is going to happen. Her foreboding doubts, coupled with a series of eerie coincidences and dreadful surprises, force her to ask the question: What makes two people soulmates? And worse – what could be scarier than lifelong commitment to the wrong person?”
My toes are curling at the thought of watching Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen, and the pressure is on if Carrie and Rosemary’s Baby – two of the best horror movies of all time – are its immediate comparisons.
But I’m a hopeful girl, for my own love life and for this show to meet my sky-high expectations. Bring on March 26th, even if I’m hiding behind my hands.
