It’s almost time for the first major phone event of the year, as the next Samsung Galaxy Unpacked takes place on February 25, and we fully expect to see the Samsung Galaxy S26 series there.
But that’s not all, as along with these Samsung Galaxy S25 successors, the company may well announce other products too — as well probably as some software upgrades.
So whether you’re in the market for a new handset or not, this could be worth tuning in to. Below, you’ll find full details of how and when to watch the launch, along with exactly what might be unveiled.
How to watch Samsung Galaxy Unpacked
Samsung’s first big Unpacked of 2026 is being held on Wednesday, February 25 at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm GMT (which is 5am AEDT on February 26 if you’re in Australia).
So those times are somewhat sociable for much of the world, but if you can’t tune in live, you’re sure to be able to watch a recorded version of the stream — or just head to TechRadar for all the announcements.
The event is being held in San Francisco, California, but you’ll be able to watch it online wherever you are in the world.

Alternatively, you’ll be able to watch the event directly on Samsung’s site. What to expect at February 25th’s Galaxy Unpacked
The star attractions will of course be the Samsung Galaxy S26 series, which is expected to include the Samsung Galaxy S26 itself, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Plus, and the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra – what we probably won’t see is the Samsung Galaxy S26 Edge. From leaks it’s looking like Samsung may have canceled this project, but even if it does emerge at some point it probably won’t do so in February.
As for the phones we will see, leaks suggest that on the whole these might not be huge upgrades on their predecessors. Aside from new chipsets, the Samsung Galaxy S26 itself could have a higher capacity 4,300mAh battery but might otherwise be similar to the Galaxy S25 – albeit maybe with some minor camera changes.
The Samsung Galaxy S26 Plus might be even less of an upgrade, with potentially little of significance changing from the Samsung Galaxy S25 Plus other than the chipset.
The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra may get a slightly bigger boost though, with not just a chipset change but also higher power 60W charging, and a Privacy Display feature, which might help you hide the content of your screen from snoopers.

Beyond the Samsung Galaxy S26 series, Samsung might also announce the Galaxy Buds 4 and Galaxy Buds 4 Pro during Unpacked.
Based on leaks, it seems that these could have a similar design to Apple’s AirPods, and they may have a charging case with a built-in speaker — though more recent leaks suggest they possibly won’t. A speaker in the case could help you locate it with sounds, so it would be a useful upgrade.
That’s probably it for hardware — though there could be some surprises — but it’s likely that Samsung will unveil some software upgrades too, beyond the aforementioned Privacy Display feature. With companies continuing to invest heavily in AI, expect that word to get thrown around a lot as well.
