Need new earbuds? 20% off the Samsung Galaxy Buds4 Pro is a fantastic preorder deal — but you’ll need to be quick

The past few days have been huge for product reveals. Not only has Apple recently announced the iPhone 17e, but Samsung unveiled its full S26 smartphone lineup just last week. While the new phones are understandably stealing headlines, my attention is firmly on the Samsung Galaxy Buds4 Pro earbuds as I’m the audio-obsessive member in TechRadar’s Aussie team.

So imagine how thrilled I am to see that there’s already a 20% discount if you pre-order them before March 11 — bringing their price down to AU$319.99. Not only is this an excellent deal on a newly announced product, but it’s a heck of a lot cheaper than Apple’s AirPods Pro 3 (which are currently discounted to AU$375 on Amazon).

Samsung Galaxy Buds4 Pro hands-on review, the South Korean tech giant’s latest flagship earbud effort looks very promising.

As he notes, “There’s an audible change afoot in the Galaxy Buds 4 Pro”, which has been facilitated by a new, bigger speaker driver. Samsung says this should provide a bass boost, but as my colleague Tom found, “this doesn’t mean more bass, but better bass”.

Noise cancellation appears to be just as solid as in their predecessor, too, but the Ambient (or transparent) mode may not be to everyone’s liking. Our hands-on review suggests it’s a little weak in that it lets through too much external noise, but I would argue this is a good thing, as, in my opinion, the whole point of an Ambient mode is to let noise in.

The Galaxy Buds4 Pro also get some new features, including head gestures to answer or reject calls and live translation. It now seems like Samsung is taking a leaf out of Apple’s book, as both features already appear in the AirPods Pro 2 and 3.

With that being said, their Australian RRP undercuts Apple by AU$30 — AU$399 vs the AirPods’ AU$429 — and with this 20% pre-order discount up for grabs, I have to say it makes Samsung’s offering quite affordable in the grand scheme.

You can pre-order the Samsung Galaxy Buds4 Pro for AU$319 from Amazon or direct from Samsung, where the checkout code BUDS4YOU will be needed to drop the price.

Alternatively, you can save AU$160 on their RRP at Vodafone and pay for them over a repayment period of up to 36 months when you also have a Vodafone postpaid plan. Considering Vodafone also has some of the best Samsung Galaxy S26 pre-order deals, it could pay to upgrade your complete setup.
