This isn’t the first time we’ve seen the Meta Quest 3S bundled with Batman: Arkham Shadow as a deal, but it’s worth calling out every time. The Meta Quest 3S is our best budget VR headset, and Batman: Arkham Shadow is a critically acclaimed VR game that’s remained popular since its 2024 launch.

The Meta Quest 3S is the budget alternative to our best VR headset, the Meta Quest 3. We didn’t formally review the Meta Quest 3S, but it shares the same chipset and RAM as the Quest 3. We gave the Quest 3 a full five stars.

The lenses and storage are the biggest differences between the Quest 3S and the standard Quest 3. The Quest 3 features dual-display pancake lenses that deliver sharper, seamless images at 2064×2208 per eye. The Quest 3S uses single-display Fresnel lenses, which are only capable of 1832×1920 resolution per eye.

As for storage, the Quest 3S offers either 128GB or 256GB. The 128GB bundle is the cheapest option. Meanwhile, the Quest 3 only offers 512GB. That difference alone makes the Quest 3 a better investment for VR fans who already know they will use the storage.
