Anna Faris Revealed as Candy Crush Mascot at L.A. Clippers NBA Game

Anna Faris gave NBA fans something to chew on during Tuesday’s home game for the Los Angeles Clippers.

The Scary Movie star went undercover as Candy Crush character Bubblegum Troll amid the mobile game’s arena-wide activation at the Intuit Dome as the Clippers lost to the Portland Trailblazers, 114-104. The night included an array of visuals, rewards and interactive opportunities, thanks to the Candy Crush takeover.

During the fourth quarter, Bubblegum Troll took to the court, where the mascot’s mask was removed. Faris was revealed beneath the costume of the character from the King-released mobile game.

“I’ve played a lot of roles, but stepping into the world of Candy Crush like this was something completely new,” the Toy Story 5 voice actress said in a statement. “I’ve always loved how the game is all about fun, joy and a little bit of absurdity, so getting to bring that energy to life in an L.A. Clippers game like this made it an even more unique experience.”

The star quipped, “I’m hoping for an awards push for this role.”

This event was part of Candy Crush’s multi-year partnership with Intuit Dome.
