Cyberpunk 2077 Getting Official Late April Release

Cyberpunk 2077 fans are seriously hyped over the future of the franchise, with the untitled “Project Orion” (aka Cyberpunk 2) project officially in the works behind the scenes at CD Projekt Red. It’s an exciting time to be a Cyberpunk 2077 fan, and you’ll want to keep your eyes peeled for a brand-new release slated to launch later this month.

Cyberpunk 2077 Returns In Late April

Cyberpunk 2077 fans are getting some brand-new official drip from Insert Coin Clothing, with two exclusive new items scheduled for a “late April” release. These include the Cyberpunk 2077 Samurai Racing Jacket and the Night City Jacket, both available for pre-order now and expected to ship later this month.

The Samurai Racing Jacket is made of 100% nylon with 100% polyester internal lining and retails for around $100 USD, while the Night City Jacket is made of 100% polyester and runs roughly $95 USD, but comes in both brown and black. These are officially licensed Cyberpunk 2077 items from CD Projekt Red, and are just a couple of several unique pieces of gear from Insert Coin Clothing that fans can peruse now.

Insert Coin is also running a special promotion on Cyberpunk 2077 purchases, where fans can get “free Cyberpunk stickers with any order containing at least one Cyberpunk 2077 or Edgerunners product,” but only while supplies last.

When Will We Get Project Orion?

The official Cyberpunk 2077 sequel is in the works at CD Projekt Red and has been code-named “Project Orion” behind the scenes. It promises to be one of the biggest and most expansive open-world sci-fi RPGs of all time, though it’s likely fans are going to be in for a long wait.

CD Projekt Red has a lot going on at the moment, and The Witcher 4 is unquestionably the highest priority, not to mention the rumored Witcher 3 DLC that may or may not be dropping this year. While developers have confirmed that a Cyberpunk 2077 sequel is definitely in the works, a timeline for when we might actually get our hands on it hasn’t been released.

That said, even the most optimistic estimates don’t expect an actual release date for Cyberpunk 2 anytime before 2030, so players will unfortunately have to hunker down and wait this one out for a while. Until then, Cyberpunk 2077 fans still have a ton of content to keep them distracted, with several ongoing comic book series from Dark Horse Comics, not to mention a trove of new merch from various retailers similar to Insert Coin.
