Undertale Returns With Official New Release In Spring 2026

Undertale is officially over a decade old now, but remains one of the most compelling and original indie RPGs ever made, with a massive cult following that still enjoys the game to this day. As fans sit patiently in wait for the next chapter of Deltarune, solo developer Toby Fox’s episodic follow-up to Undertale, there’s a lot for fans to be excited about.

After over 10 years since its launch, players are eager for any new Undertale content they can get their hands on, and there’s a brand-new official release scheduled for this spring that fans will want to keep an eye on (FanGamer).

Undertale Is Gets Official New Release This Spring

Undertale will officially make a return this spring with the brand-new release of “Chitei De Chili,” a new Undertale 10-year anniversary album being added to Square Enix’s popular Chill Arrangement music series. The album is being released on CD via FanGamer along with a few other exciting 2026 Undertale items.

“Chitei De Chili” is a 20-track masterpiece that is perfect for sitting back and relaxing or vibing out to some new adaptations of classic Undertale jams. “Melodies that once colored the underground world have been reborn as gentle chill sounds, creating a work that lets you experience a new side of Undertale,” and the album is currently available for pre-order.

The “Chitei De Chill” album features “distinguished Japanese artists” such as Muro, tofubeats, VaVa, DJ Mitsu the Beats, grooveman Spot, doooo, DJ JIN, GORO KUMAI, G.RINA, and DJ HASEBE, among others. It’s currently listed at just under $30 USD, and is expected to ship this spring.

When Will We Get Deltarune Chapter 5?

Fans of Undertale have been sitting on the edge of their seats waiting for the official release date announcement of Deltarune Chapter 5, which is confirmed to be in development for a 2026 launch according to an X post from Toby Fox earlier this year. Chapter 5 is the highly anticipated next installment in the series, with a total of seven chapters planned all together.

However, the timeline for 2026 is still a bit ambiguous for Chapter 5, and while many players are crossing their fingers and toes for a release date update in the next few weeks, it’s possible there won’t be any news until Chapter 5 is ready to launch and ends up getting shadow dropped out of nowhere.
