Cyberpunk 2077: Edgerunners Game Officially Announced

Since celebrating its 5th anniversary back in December, Cyberpunk 2077 has gone from strength to strength with its popularity growing more each year. With multiplayer arcade games, record-breaking Kickstarter campaigns, and even the addition of Night City to VR, being a fan of the CD Projekt RED is paying off more than ever, and this upcoming entry is no exception.

Inspired by the hit Netflix anime series, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, players will be able to step into the shoes of Lucy, David, Rebecca, and Maine as they utilize their unique abilities and complete missions in an attempt to make it out of Night City.

Cyberpunk 2077 Is Back With A New Game

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners – Hunted is a tabletop game based on the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners anime which took the world by storm back in 2022. Taking place in the same universe as Cyberpunk 2077, but focusing on a brand-new cast of characters, the anime series was soon renewed for a second season, and just goes to show how much fans are eager to see the world expanded at any cost.

Now, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners – Hunted, is doing just that as players embark on 25-minute sessions with the ability to pre-order the game right now ahead of its September 2026 launch. Taking place in Night City, the board will feature connecting tiles which represent different routes through the familiar metropolis. During the session, an exit tile will be placed, and it will then be up to your Edgerunners to all reach it before time runs out. However, you will all need to complete the Mission Card first, with each ranging in difficulty. On top of that, an hourglass will constantly be ticking away, making your exit all the more precious. With enemies on your back and your exit out of Night City on the line, communication is key in Cyberpunk: Edgerunners – Hunted.

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners – Hunted Lands This Year

Successfully collect gigs and REACH THE EXTRACTION POINT before the timer runs out to claim victory in this adrenaline-pumping race against time.
