Lego’s FIFA World Cup 2026 sets are up for preorder — yes, there’s a brick-built Lionel Messi

The FIFA 2026 World Cup doesn’t kick off until June 11, 2026, but it’s safe to say that we’re on the road to the first match starting, and Lego has dropped 8 sets in a massive expansion to its FIFA World Cup 26 theme.

Beyond building an official Lego replica of the trophy, which is still in stock from Lego, or a soccer ball that is an authentic replica of a size 5 soccer ball, these new sets take aim at some of the biggest stars in the soccer world.

Center-stage are three sets celebrating Lionel Messi – the Soccer Highlights for $29.99, the Soccer Legend at $99.99, or the Celebration for $199.99, which can be displayed on a wall. Soccer Legend might be my favorite, though, as you’ll build Messi out of bricks, but the most affordable – Soccer Highlights – comes with a Messi Minifigure, which is just stellar.

Lego’s also delivering two sets themed after Cristiano Ronaldo, including a brick-built one and a way to get a minifigure of him. And rounding out the collection are Kylian Mbappé and Vini Jr., each getting a soccer highlights set. Last, but not least, is the FIFA World Cup 2026 Official Emblem, in which you’ll build a partially 3D trophy in front of a colorful background that reads 26 – best of all, it can stand on its own and is just $29.99.
