Ciara Miller Addresses Amanda, West Summer House Scandal: ‘Thriving’

Ciara Miller subtly addressed the Summer House scandal at Tuesday night’s Euphoria premiere, promising her supporters she’s thriving amid the controversy.

The reality star attended the season three debut for the HBO series, where she very briefly spoke with Entertainment Tonight and also interviewed the star-studded cast for HBO Max. In a short and sweet interview with the former outlet, Miller was asked how she’s doing, to which she responded, “We’re thriving.”

“We’re at Euphoria, how can we not?” she quickly quipped. Elsewhere, Miller interviewed the show’s stars, including Sydney Sweeney, Hunter Schafer and Maude Apatow, but her chat with the Christy star was certainly the buzziest of the three.

A piece of Miller’s interview with Sweeney was shared on the HBO Max Instagram, where the two were seemingly discussing Sweeney’s character Cassie stealing Maddy’s (Alexa Demie), her best friend, boyfriend Nate (Jacob Elordi) in season two.

“I mean, if you steal your friend’s ex-boyfriend…” Miller began in the clip, to which The Housemaid star rebutted, shaking her head and replying, “It’s not good.”

“What do you think is the next step?” Miller questioned. “I feel like you ought to get married.” (In season three, Cassie and Nate tie the knot.)

“I mean, I would hope so. You got make it worth it,” Sweeney replied, with the Summer House star echoing her sentiment. “You got make it worth it,” Miller said, as she turned and looked directly into the camera. “Like, make it worth something. ‘Cause that’s just worth too much pain,” Sweeney added.

The story of the demise of Cassie and Maddy’s friendship in season two of Euphoria is parallel to the real-time scandal surrounding Miller’s personal life. After a month of rumors, Summer House stars Amanda Batula and West Wilson confirmed their newfound relationship on March 31, rocking the Bravosphere. The romance was particularly shocking because Miller used to date Wilson, and Miller and Batula have been close friends.

Wilson joined the cast of Bravo’s Summer House in season eight, which began airing in 2024. During that installment, Wilson met the cast and began his romance with Miller, whom he dated through the end of the year. At the season eight reunion of the reality series, the two announced they were no longer together, and Miller revealed that Wilson said he could not commit to a serious relationship with her “for show related reasons.”

Wilson and Miller were on rocky terms throughout the ninth season of Summer House. Season 10 premiered in February and is currently airing, where the two have gotten close and rehashed aspects of their former romance. (In episode seven, Miller admitted that “it’s very clear that we both miss each other,” and noted that “we’re in a weird state of like, limbo, and so it’s all just coming out so disorganized and a bit crazy.”)

On season 10 of Summer House, Miller has also been an avid supporter of Batula amid her rocky marriage with Kyle Cooke, whom she is now separated from. In a recent interview with Marie Claire, Batula showed gratitude toward Miller for being there amid turbulence in her marriage — also shouting out Wilson in the same breath.

“It would have been a very difficult summer to get through without
Ciara. She is one of the kindest, most loving, loyal friends I’ve ever had. She sends me texts out of the blue, reminding me how strong, powerful, smart, and kind I am — I don’t think she even realizes how much I need those texts,” Batula said. “It’s also meant so much to me how supportive West [Wilson] has been throughout the season, sometimes in ways I wasn’t even aware of when filming. It’s not performative; it’s just really authentic to who West is. He checks Kyle and puts him in his place, and you’ll continue to see him be there for me throughout the season.”

Bravo also announced Tuesday that the upcoming Summer House spinoff, entitled In The City, will premiere on May 19, directly following the season 10 finale. The show was in the works before the scandal, and will feature Batula, Cooke and Lindsay Hubbard, mostly centering on the downfall of Batula and Cooke’s marriage.
