Cyberpunk 2077 Gets A Huge New Expansion Thanks To The Fans

Back in December, Cyberpunk 2077 celebrated its five-year anniversary, and it is hard to believe that this once unplayable RPG is now regarded as one of the best video games of all time. Developed by CD Projekt RED and based on the original Cyberpunk TTRPG created by Mike Pondsmith, Cyberpunk 2077 tells the story of mercenary V who operates in a post-apocalyptic metropolis known as Night City. Since its release back in 2020, the franchise has continued to grow in popularity, and as a result, in the last few months alone, Cyberpunk 2077 has welcomed multiple collaborations ranging from multiplayer arcade games to official merchandise and everything in between.

Created by Jon Cross over on Nexus Mods, CYBERPUNK 2077 UNOFFICIAL DLC 2 does exactly what it says on the tin by offering an unofficial DLC for players. As such, this mod is on such a large scale that it is hard to believe that all of this content was not previously available. Added for the first time back in September 2025, but receiving regular updates to this day, the CYBERPUNK 2077 UNOFFICIAL DLC 2 will add 45+ new locations to Night City.

It is true that a second DLC for Cyberpunk 2077 was canceled, but luckily, this free-to-download mod gives us everything we could have hoped for and more, with the addition of arcades, apartments, bars, a batcave, car meets, clubs, a skatepark, resorts, mansions, movie theaters, roller coasters, a pocket dimension, and much more. Put simply, Night City has never been more popular and for the first time, previously inaccessible interiors will now welcome you with open arms and neon lights.
