Comcast Adds Disney+, Hulu and HBO Max to Xfinity StreamSaver Bundles

Comcast is continuing on its quest to kind-of, sort-of reconstitute the cable TV bundle for the streaming era.

On Thursday, Comcast’s Xfinity announced an expansion to its StreamSaver bundles, adding the Disney+/Hulu bundle and HBO Max alongside NBCUniversal’s Peacock, Netflix and Apple TV. The cable giant now offers eight different StreamSaver bundles, which offer between 29% and 45% discounts compared with the services’ stand-alone pricing. Note that the StreamSaver packages are available only to customers in Comcast’s footprint — who must be signed up for Xfinity broadband or TV service. The company first launched StreamSaver with Peacock, Apple TV and Netflix in May 2024.

The bundles are available through StreamStore, Xfinity’s digital storefront for streaming apps and services, which includes more than 450 streaming apps and channels and 200,000 movies and TV shows to rent or purchase.

“Xfinity StreamStore puts customers in control — making it easy to mix, match, and manage the streaming services they actually want,” said Jon Gieselman, chief growth officer for Comcast’s Connectivity & Platforms business unit.

All of the StreamSaver plans come with an X1 4K TV box and voice remote, with features such as Multiview, RealTime4K and Fan View. In addition, Xfinity customers can add NOW TV, a streaming package of more than 125 live channels, to select StreamSaver bundles starting at $5 extra per month.

The Xfinity StreamSaver packages are the respective services’ ad-supported tiers, with the exception of Apple TV (which does not have an ad tier). Those plans are: Peacock Premium (with ads), Netflix Standard With Ads, the Disney+ Hulu Bundle (With Ads) and HBO Max Basic With Ads.
