Let the 50th Hunger Games begin!
While Haymitch mentored Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark to victory during their own games, he now becomes the tragic hero of his own story in The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping. Although the games traditionally consist of 24 tributes, one girl and one boy from each district, the Second Quarter doubles the number of participants. A then 16-year-old Haymitch ends up winning, but the upcoming movie reveals the truth behind one of the most brutal games in Panem history.
