Jenny Tian’s New Special ‘Supreme Mother’ Sets Premiere Date At Veeps

EXCLUSIVE: Jenny Tian, an emerging Australian comic named to Deadline’s list of Stand-Ups to Keep an Eye on in 2026, has announced that her third special, Mother Supreme, will launch exclusively on Veeps on May 7th.

In the hour, filmed at The Bell House in Brooklyn, NY in January, Tian unpacks leaving Australia for a stint in the United Kingdom, and her subsequent journey to America — all under the watchful eye of her mother. Jenny’s frozen her eggs, re-downloaded Hinge, and is ready for an adventure. Join her as she shares her stories of phone snatching, cultural oddities, and finding herself.

Justin Hamilton directed Tian in the live show, with James Webb directing the Veeps special, whose exec producers include Tian, Webb, Chris Condren, and Nikki Haririan.

A regular on the Sydney comedy circuit, Tian broke out on TikTok during the pandemic, notching millions of likes and amassing a collective online audience of 1M+. Her debut solo show Picture This sold out to audiences up and down the east coast of Australia and was released as a special on YouTube, where it has nearly a million views. Her second hour, Chinese Australian: A Tale of Internet Fame, sold out across Australia and took her to her first ever runs at the Edinburgh Fringe and West End’s Boulevard Theatre, which she also sold out.

Off the back of her stand-up success, Tian has secured spots on the lineup for the 2024, 2025, and 2026 Melbourne Comedy Festival Galas and as a cast member in Season 2 of Taskmaster Australia, earning a Logie nomination for Best New Talent for her work in the latter. Recently announced as a recipient of Screen Aus and YouTube’s funding initiative, Skip Ahead, she’s in pre-production on Dupermarket, a web series that she’s starring in and co-writing with Patrick Golamco.

Tian is currently touring her newest hour, When Life Gives You Oranges, across Australia and will be taking the act to North America this fall. The comic is repped by Avalon, Creative Representation in Australia, and Gersh.
