Archstone Hires Former XYZ Exec Scott Freije As VP, Worldwide Sales

EXCLUSIVE: U.S. sales firm Archstone Entertainment has appointed veteran sales exec Scott Freije as Vice President of Worldwide Sales ahead of next month’s Cannes market.

Freije spent eight years at XYZ Films, latterly as Vice President of International Sales and Distribution, overseeing sales and licensing across the film slate. He was most recently at VMI Worldwide and before XYZ had a stint at Artist View Entertainment.

In his new role, Freije will work alongside Archstone partners Scott Martin and Michael Slifkin, and VP of Operations Heather Brawley, and will be responsible for leading worldwide sales efforts, attending events including Cannes, TIFF, EFM, and AFM.

Archstone’s latest sales slate includes SXSW crime-comedy Chili Finger with Bryan Cranston and Judy Greer and action pic Exit Protocol with Dolph Lundgren, Scott Martin and Michael Jai White.
