Tiffany Faigus & Ariane Wu Join Amazon As Nonfiction Chief Sets Team

EXCLUSIVE: Jenn Levy joined Amazon earlier this year as Head of Unscripted and Documentary Television.

The exec has now set her senior leadership team and rebranded its division.

Former Disney exec Tiffany Faigus and ex-Netflix exec Ariane Wu have joined the streamer and Levy has rebranded the division and will serve as Head of Nonfiction Series.

Faigus joins from EverWonder Studio, the company behind Netflix’s Reality Check: Inside America’s Next Top Model, where she was EVP and Executive Producer. She joined the company in January 2025, having spent nine years at Disney, where she was SVP, Unscripted and Alternative Entertainment, ABC Entertainment and Walt Disney Television Alternative.

During her time at Disney, she was behind series including Shark Tank, Holey Moley, and Who Wants to Be a Millionaire as well as Hulu’s breakout reality series The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.

She becomes Senior Creative Executive Unscripted Series, reports to Levy and starts on May 11. In an internal memo to colleagues, Levy wrote, “Tiffany is a veteran unscripted executive with over 20 years of experience at the highest levels of the genre, bringing the creative firepower and institutional knowledge we need as we grow our slate.”

Wu joins as Senior Creative Executive Documentary Series, will also report to Levy and starts June 3.

She has spent the last eight years at Netflix, where she was Director, Original Documentary Film. Wu worked on over 80 titles during this period including on The Tinder Swindler, Unknown Number: The High School Catfish, The Greatest Night in Pop, and Our Father.

Levy said, “She brings deep relationships across the nonfiction community and a strong ability to balance big and buzzy impact with prestige storytelling.

The former 32 Flavors President and Netflix exec added that she “couldn’t be more energized about what they’ll bring to our evolving initiative. These hires reflect our ambition to build a world-class Nonfiction team and cement Prime Video as a premier destination for Unscripted and Documentary Series”.
