Star Wars fans are on top of the world right now, especially thanks to the recent release of Maul: Shadow Lord, the hit Disney+ series that has only two episodes remaining in its first season. Fans need not fret, though — Disney renewed the show for Season 2 weeks ago, opening it up for a potential return as soon as early next year. Star Wars fans also have to look forward to the franchise’s long-awaited return to the big screen with The Mandalorian and Grogu. The film will be the first Star Wars movie to premiere in theaters since The Rise of Skywalker in 2019, but fans remain hopeful that The Mandalorian sequel movie will be met with a better reception. Pedro Pascal will return to voice Din Djarin in the film, which was written and directed by Jon Favreau.
While plot specifics about The Mandalorian and Groguare still being kept under wraps, it is confirmed to be a direct continuation of the popular Disney+ series that first aired in 2019. The Mandalorian was one of the shows that helped launch Disney+ when the platform arrived that same year, and it didn’t take long to become a flagship property for Disney and Lucasfilm. Not only is The Mandalorian one of the most impressive Star Wars Disney+ shows ever, but it also has a strong case for the best sci-fi Western TV show ever made. The first season of The Mandalorian, in particular, feels more like a classic Western show with a Star Wars skin over it than other Star Wars shows like Ahsoka or The Book of Boba Fett. The Mandalorian is currently in the top 10 on Disney+ in several countries, including the United States.

Your Alignment Has Been Determined Your Place in the Force
The scores below reveal how the Force sees you. Your highest number is your true alignment. Read on to understand what that means — and what it will cost you.
🔵 Jedi Master
🟡 Padawan
🔴 Sith Lord
⚫ Inquisitor
⚪ Grey Jedi
Disciplined, compassionate, and deeply attuned to the living Force, you have walked the path long enough to understand its demands — and accept them. You lead not through authority alone, but through example. You have felt the pull of the dark side and chosen otherwise, every time. That is not certainty. That is courage.
You are earnest, powerful, and brimming with potential — and you know it, which is both your greatest asset and your most dangerous flaw. You act before you think, trust your gut over your training, and sometimes confuse impatience for bravery. The Masters see something in you, though. The question isn’t whether you have what it takes — it’s whether you’ll be patient enough to find out.
You are not simply dangerous — you are certain, and that is worse. You have decided what the galaxy needs, and you have decided you are the one to deliver it. Your power is genuine and formidable, earned through sacrifice that would have broken lesser beings. But examine your victories carefully. Every Sith believed their cause was righteous. The dark side’s cruelest trick is that it agrees with you.
You were forged in fire and reshaped by those who found you at your lowest. You serve, because service gave you structure when you had none. Your allegiance is not to an ideology — it is to survival and to the master who gave you purpose. But there is something buried beneath the conditioning. The Jedi you hunt? You recognize them. Because you remember what it felt like before the choice was taken from you.
You have looked at the Jedi Code and the Sith Code and found both of them incomplete. You walk the line not out of indecision but out of conviction — you genuinely believe both extremes miss something essential. The Jedi don’t fully trust you. The Sith think you’re wasting your potential. They’re both partially right. But so are you.
Is ‘The Mandalorian’ the Best Star Wars Show?
While many fans could argue that The Mandalorian is the best Star Wars show, most fans would agree that the title belongs to Andor. Similar to how The Mandalorian is a classic Western, Andor is a gritty spy thriller that features some of the most poignant political commentary found in any TV show. Andor Season 2 also holds a 97% from critics on Rotten Tomatoes, which was the highest rating of any Star Wars show ever, at least until the recent premiere of Maul: Shadow Lord. There have been no updates on The Mandalorian Season 4, but the feature film coming next month is likely to take its place.
