At the time of writing, Avalanche Studios, Portkey Games, and Warner Bros. are hard at work on the sequel to Hogwarts Legacy, which sounds as if it will have a setting that ties into the HBO adaptation in the name of brand synergy. This offer was unveiled before the weekend, and today (May 3) is the final day you can grab Hogwarts Legacy for free. In fact, you only have until 11:00 a.m ET, so you really do need to act fast if you have any intention of grabbing the game for the low price of nothing.
It’s also worth noting Hogwarts Legacy was made free via the Epic Games Store during The Game Awards in December last year. So who’s to say you won’t eventually get a third chance? Since this is an Epic freebie, the offer only extends to PC gamers. However, Hogwarts Legacy is currently free via PlayStation Plus Extra if you want to play on console.
“Hogwarts Legacy is an open-world action RPG set in the world first introduced in the Harry Potter books,” reads the game’s official synopsis. “Embark on a journey through familiar and new locations as you explore and discover magical beasts, customize your character and craft potions, master spell casting, upgrade talents and become the wizard you want to be.”

The school and the surrounding areas have been recreated beautifully, and players will easily lose hours lost in the whimsical splendor of this wizarding world.”
