Sony’s journey to Hyrule just got a little bit closer to embarking. In one of his trademark social media PSAs, Nintendo’s Shigeru Miyamoto confirmed that the live-action The Legend of Zelda movie has moved forward one week. Once set to premiere on May 7, 2027, it’ll now adventure to theaters on April 30, the second date change the film has endured after previously moving back from its original March 26 date. Miyamoto emphasized that, with the shift, it’s not just arriving early, but is now firmly less than a year away from finally hitting the big screen.
