Tomb Raider Freebie Officially Available To Grab For 24 More Hours

It is both an exciting and sad time for Tomb Raider fans as one beloved collaboration comes to an end, meaning that you have just 24 hours to get your hands on a freebie that you will most definitely regret if you miss out on.

Since its inception back in 1996, the Tomb Raider franchise, and its protagonist, Lara Croft, have become a household name. Spreading across multiple mainline entries, spin-offs, animated television shows, movies, graphic novels, and more, there is no denying how much of an impact the Tomb Raider series has had on the media as a whole, and it shows no signs of slowing down with the upcoming launch of Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, a remake of the 1996 classic, and brand-new mainline entry, Tomb Raider: Catalyst.

However, the Tomb Raider franchise has also been a part of many collaborations over the years, with Lara herself turning up in the likes of Fortnite as just one example. One collaboration some people may not know about, however, is the Powerwash Simulator x Tomb Raider crossover event, which saw powerwash fanatics clean up the dirty Croft Mansion.

Added to Powerwash Simulator back in 2023, the Tomb Raider Special Pack featured five dirty new levels across Croft Manor, as well as stories told by Lara Croft herself as you progressed throughout the home. Welcomed to the game for absolutely free, the DLC was a hit, but it was earlier this year that Powerwash Simulator developer FuturLab announced that the Tomb Raider Special Pack would be leaving the hit cleaning game alongside the Midgar Special Pack.

As of 3PM BST on May 19th 2026, both packs will no longer be available to download for free on the various storefronts for Powerwash Simulator. However, if you already own both packs, you will still be able to play them at your leisure, which is why it is 100% recommended grabbing them whilst you still can, even if you do not plan on playing them just yet.

In response to the end of both collaborations, FuturLab released the following statement:

Players who have already downloaded the Tomb Raider and Midgar Special Packs will still be able to play them as normal moving forward. For those that haven’t, this is your final chance to claim these Special Packs if you wish to spray down Seventh Heaven or clean Croft Manor.

Our team loved working on both of these beloved gaming IPs and we have been incredibly lucky to offer them until this point.

This also coincides with the end of our formal relationship with Square Enix in June, who have been an incredible partner and have supported the publishing of PowerWash Simulator on PC and console.

So, there you have it, you have just a few hours left to grab both the Tomb Raider Special Pack and Midgar Special Pack in Powerwash Simulator before they are gone forever, so you had better hurry!
