The New York City Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment has announced the full slate of programming for the 9th annual New York Music Month, the city’s official music festival, held every June. This year’s schedule includes more than 60 free events for artists, industry professionals, and fans.
Highlights include in-depth Q&As with Grammy best new artist winner Samara Joy, legendary Chic co-founder and David Bowie/Madonna/Daft Punk songwriter-producer Nile Rodgers, NYC punk/alternative vet Jesse Malin (who is back performing after suffering a devastating stroke in 2023), singer-actor Frankie Grande and many more.
To see the full calendar of free events — which includes 20+ performances featuring emerging and established artists, 40+ talks with expert-led panels, workshops, and masterclasses — and register, go to NYMusicMonth.NYC.
The website also includes a calendar that allows anyone hosting a music event during June to promote their event for free.
