Anna Faris Teases “There’s Interest” In A ‘House Bunny’ Sequel

[

After nearly 20 years, Anna Faris is hoping to reunite with her Zeta sisters in a potential The House Bunny sequel.

The actress recently teased that “there’s interest” in a follow-up to the 2008 Happy Madison comedy, in which she played a Playboy Bunny who is kicked out of Hugh Hefner’s mansion, only to find refuge as the house mother for a struggling sorority.

“I would love to talk to you about House Bunny stuff,” Faris told Entertainment Tonight. “And it turns out, there’s interest. I never thought that dream would ever be realized either, and it’s too soon to say anything, but it turns out that movie is beloved, and that character too.”

Directed by Fred Wolf, The House Bunny also starred Emma Stone, Colin Hanks, Kat Dennings, Katharine McPhee, Rumer Willis, Tyson Ritter, Kiely Williams, Christopher McDonald and Beverly D’Angelo.

The movie featured cameos from Hugh Hefner, Holly Madison, Kendra Wilkinson and Bridget Marquardt as well, with filming partially taking place at the Playboy Mansion.

Faris’ comments come as she revisits another one of her early comedies, reprising her breakout role as Cindy Campbell in Scary Movie 6, which premieres Friday in theaters.
