The Genshin Impact 6.7 livestream is set to occur soon, bringing forth information about the highly anticipated new character, the banner layout for the period, story details, events, and much more. The action RPG is already in the final leg of the 6.X patch cycle, working to leave Nod-Krai behind and soon move into Snezhnaya. The Genshin Impact Snezhnaya livestream in April showcased a bit of what players will be able to look forward to once the Nation of Cryo is officially released.
The event showed the very first Snezhnaya character, as well as the Cryo Traveler, and teased a few of the mechanics, including improved Fatui enemies’ AI and the trains that travel the nation. However, at the moment, the game is going through the second half of the Genshin Impact 6.6 update, which introduced Nicole and Lohen as playable characters. Now, the game is soon going to move into Version 6.7, and there will be a lot of news for what will likely be the final patch before Version 7.0.
Genshin Impact 6.7 Livestream – Date & Time
The next update is set to arrive in early July, and while developer HoYoverse hasn’t formally announced the special event that will highlight its content, it’s possible to foresee when it will happen. With each patch’s release set six weeks apart, Version 6.7 will arrive on July 1. Because livestreams tend to happen two weeks before, on Friday mornings, it’s safe to speculate when it will occur.
Based on the company’s regular behavior, the Genshin Impact 6.7 livestream will likely occur on June 19 at around 8 am ET. The exact date and time of the special event have yet to be confirmed by HoYoverse, but this is the most likely scenario. The livestream’s details should be revealed a few days before the livestream itself, so it’s best to keep up with the game’s posts on official social media profiles, including HoYoLAB.
Genshin Impact 6.7 Livestream – New Character & Banners
Based on HoYoverse’s latest drip marketing post, there will only be one playable character in Version 6.7: Sandrone. There had been a few leaks about Sandrone in Genshin Impact, some of which suggested that she would become playable. However, it’s now been confirmed that Sandrone is indeed arriving in Version 6.7 as a fully playable character. According to the leaks on Honey Hunter World, Sandrone’s a 5-star Cryo character who fights with a claymore.
Based on the leaks, which will likely be confirmed during the special event, Sandrone is a DPS who works with a summon called Fagio, who enters the battlefield when she uses her Charged Attack. Fagio will be responsible for the majority of the constant damage dealt by Sandrone, firing beams that deal AoE Cryo DMG, considered Stellar-Conduct DMG – a new Superconduct variation, somewhat like the Lunar reaction variations in Genshin Impact.
Because Stellar-Conduct is a variation of Superconduct, Sandrone will likely be at her best when operating with other Cryo and Electro characters in the game. One of Sandrone’s possible allies, for example, should be Ineffa in Genshin Impact. Elemental Mastery will be important in Sandrone’s build, according to the leaks, though she’ll get an EM buff based on her ATK, so that will likely be the priority.
With Sandrone’s release, this will be the fifth playable Fatui Harbinger in Genshin Impact (third, if you don’t consider Wanderer or Columbina, both of whom used to be Fatui agents). While Sandrone will be the new playable character, the patch will feature other limited-time banners. They will all be revealed during the Version 6.7 livestream, but some rumors have hinted at the possible characters.
The leaks indicate that Columbina, Citlali, and Raiden Shogun could have reruns in Version 6.7. These would be great characters to run alongside Sandrone, since they form an excellent team comp with her. Columbina is a great off-field Cryo sub-DPS that will see extra Cryo application and damage output, alongside Raiden Shogun in Genshin Impact, an off-field Electro sub-DPS who will constantly help trigger Stellar-Conduct reactions.
Meanwhile, Citlali would be a fantastic Cryo shielder for the team. There are leaks about Yae Miko and Wriothesley getting buffs in Version 6.7, as well as Cyno, so they could also potentially get featured in banners. The banner layout is usually a lot more open to change, so we’ll need to wait for the special event to confirm which characters are being made available.
Genshin Impact 6.7 – Story Updates, Events, & More
There won’t be a massive story update with Version 6.7, as it is expected to be the final update before Version 7.0 and the introduction of Snezhnaya, but it will serve as a stage for a huge special event that will connect to the future update. The flagship event will likely resemble the ones from previous years, but its details and activities will only be confirmed during the upcoming livestream.
There are rumors that Charlotte will be given as a free character in the patch, and that may happen as part of the rewards for this flagship event. Even though the game is slowing down, there is still a lot in store for Genshin Impact 6.7, as it prepares to reach the long-awaited nation of Snezhnaya in Version 7.0 later this Summer.
