It’s not uncommon for Jalen, meanwhile, to leave it all out on the court—the good and the bad. 

“Jalen is very good at leaving work at work, so to say,” noted Ali, founder and creator of The AMB Method. “He’ll come through the door, and it’s dad mode. We kind of forget what happened.” 

After they’ve run through the bedtime plays, she continued, “He may re-watch the game later that night, but it doesn’t impact. He’ll still go about the day as is, and he’s pretty good at that.”

Of course, it helps that he has his MVP running point at home. 

“We’re blessed to have family who live really close,” Ali explained of how they keep it moving. “And then our neighbors, our friends, everyone takes care of each other. I feel like I could call up anyone and they would drop anything for us, which, I would do the same.”
