July is coming, and with it, Harry Potter‘s birthday on the 31st. It’s a time to rewatch all eight movies and perhaps re-read favorite chapters from the seven books. The Days Are Numbered for the Harry Potter Movies on HBO Max and Peacock
Sadly, on July 1, all eight movies will be removed from HBO Max and Peacock domestically. HBO Max will also lose the three Fantastic Beasts spin-offs, which were all directed by Yates but deemed unworthy of being counted as part of the mainline series. The Harry Potter stories, written by the controversial J.K. Rowling, are now being rebooted for an ambitious HBO television adaptation that will debut with its first season in December. HBO has already released a trailer for the series, which is expected to be the biggest scripted small-screen event of the year. The eight movies, starring Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and Emma Watson, are available to stream on Peacock and HBO Max for the rest of June. Stay tuned to Collider for more updates.
