Avatar: Frontiers Of Pandora Free Download Officially Yours Until June 23

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora tackled the seemingly impossible task of adapting the stunning alien moon from the films into video game form and succeeded in almost every respect. It proved to be a smash hit among fans, delivering a critically acclaimed base game and several DLC that even tied into the films’ chronology. However, it was nowhere near the commercial juggernaut that other, better-established Ubisoft franchises have proved to be.

That is a fairly predictable outcome, as, even though the Avatar franchise is immensely profitable, within the world of video games, it carries significantly less weight than Far Cry or Assassin’s Creed. As a result, a lot fewer people have likely played Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora than one might expect. Fortunately, for those who’ve sat on the fence or simply couldn’t afford the game when it came out, Ubisoft is offering the perfect opportunity to try it out completely for free and see if it truly is one of the best Ubisoft games on the market.

Ubisoft has released a free trial for its subscription service, Ubisoft+, giving new subscribers full access to its library of AAA experiences, including Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. The trial actually unlocks Ubisoft+ Premium completely for free, which allows people to play not just the entire base game without spending a cent, but also each of its DLCs in their entirety. This means that fans of the movies can finally see how Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora connects to the films, especially the latest title, Fire and Ash.

There are three DLC story expansions for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, including The Sky Breaker, Secrets of the Spires, and the 15-hour-long standalone experience From the Ashes, which released in tandem with the latest film. However, those keen to see everything Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora has to offer completely for free may be a little out of luck (unless they have unlimited free time at their disposal over the next few days) as the trial starts on July 18 and expires on July 23.

Fortunately, the base game, which takes roughly 23 hours to beat, is well worth downloading the free trial for. While perhaps not quite as impressive or extensive as Assassin’s Creed Shadows’ post-launch support, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora’s numerous updates over the years, alongside the aforementioned DLC, have improved the overall experience. Now is undeniably the best time to get into it, especially when there are three films to watch alongside playing it.

Of course, if people wish to continue their subscription after the free trial ends, they can pay $17.99 a month from July 23 onward. The subscription doesn’t offer much beyond access to Ubisoft titles, including new releases on the day they come out. However, for fans of Ubisoft’s work or those simply seeking to play everything the studio has ever made, it could be worth the cost. At the very least, this free trial provides an excellent opportunity to play Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and see its truly gorgeous visuals first-hand.
