Bloodborne: Ring Of Madman’s Knowledge Officially Arrives This Summer

[

Known for its Victorian Gothic aesthetic, Bloodborne has cemented itself as one of the most visually pleasing video games of all time. Set in Victorian London in the fictionalized city of Yharnam, the FromSoftware hit immerses players in the dark aesthetic of a world plagued by a mysterious blood disease, turning its inhabitants into blood-starved monsters.

As the Hunter, we must don our Hunter’s Cap and take to the cobbled streets of Yharnam to uncover the truth behind the curse, all whilst fighting beasts and cosmic entities alike. Thanks to its Victorian-inspired aesthetic, Bloodborne is an instantly recognizable game with its towering spires, blood-soaked cobbled streets, and dimly lit alleys where beasts stalk the shadows.

Of course, the 2015 RPG from FromSoftware is also praised for pretty much every other aspect of the game, including soundtrack, combat, story, characters, and more. As such, Bloodborne is widely regarded as one of the greatest video games of all time, despite Sony digging its heels it when it comes to giving us that long-awaited next-gen remaster.

Nevertheless, Bloodborne’s popularity has meant that it has gone on to inspire countless creators over the past decade, whether that is modders aiming to make the game even better or, in this case, a jewelry company.

The Japanese jewelry company known as Torch Torch, has just unveiled its brand-new ring collection inspired by Bloodborne. The ‘Madman’s Knowledge’ silver ring that “grants enlightenment” has arrived, featuring a “grotesquely deformed cranium” with “a slug-like haze floating in the hollow of the forehead.”

Sculpted by Masato Ohata, this brand-new ring has captured the eerie and Gothic atmosphere of Bloodborne, and it is available to order now ahead of its August shipping estimate. The item description reads as follows:

“Sculptor Masato Ohata was in charge of creating the prototype, skillfully recreating the eerie atmosphere of the strangely deformed skull. The slug-like mist and particles floating in the cavity of the forehead are expressed by finely polishing a blackened silver mold. The ratio of the head to the arms and the emphasis on the details were carefully considered to achieve a balance that maintains a moderate presence while being easy to incorporate into fashion. Skilled craftsmen have meticulously hand-applied the oxidation and polishing to each piece. The smooth feel to the touch is also pleasant, and it is a product that has not compromised on any detail. Please enjoy it in your own hands.”

`The ‘Madman’s Knowledge’ costs 29,700 yen, which is expected to be the equivalent of around $184USD. As such, it is quite a commitment, but would also make for the perfect addition to the hand of any Bloodborne fan.
