Nintendo Switch Prime Day Discounts on Games, Consoles, and More

[

Amazon Prime Day 2026 is now underway, and day two of the four-day sale is already serving up some surprisingly strong deals for Nintendo fans. Whether you’re still gaming on the original Switch or have made the jump to Switch 2, there are discounts available across games, accessories, storage, and more.

Yes, we’ll be rattling on about this sale for a good few days at least, as the event runs through June 26. There’s still plenty of time to browse, but some of the best Nintendo deals we’ve seen all year are live and waiting for ya’. Let’s take a look at what’s up for grabs.

The Best Nintendo Deals for Prime Day 2026

Before diving into the full list, a few standout Prime Day deals deserve special attention. The Samsung 256GB microSD Express Card for Switch 2 has dropped to $39.99, which is easily one of the best prices we’ve seen on the format so far and a rare chance to expand your storage without paying a hefty premium.

There’s also an extremely limited time lightning deal on Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, bringing the original Switch version down to just $29.99. Factor in the $10 Switch 2 upgrade path and you’re looking at one of the lowest prices we’ve seen for the game on either platform since launch.

For anyone still trying to get hold of Nintendo’s latest console, the Switch 2 Choose Your Own Game Bundle for $499 remains one of the best-value options available ahead of the planned September price increase.

Meanwhile, Nintendo eShop gift cards are currently discounted by 10%, essentially giving you extra credit to put toward digital games, DLC, or upcoming releases.

With that out of the way, let’s get into the rest of the best Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 deals available during Prime Day 2026.

Is the Switch 2 On Sale for Prime Day?

Nintendo Switch 2: Choose Your Game Bundle

Games to choose from are Mario Kart World, Donkey Kong Bananza, and Pokémon Pokopia.

If you haven’t picked up a Switch 2 yet, the “Switch 2: Choose Your Own Game Bundle” remains the best-value console deal of Prime Day.

Not only do you get a game included for $499, but it’s also one of the last chances to buy the console before Nintendo’s planned $50 price increase arrives in September.

Factoring in the bundled game and upcoming price hike, you’re effectively looking at around $80 in value.

There’s also an excellent Amazon Resale deal that can bring the Switch 2 down to roughly $341, although availability has been extremely inconsistent throughout the sale.

Stock has been appearing and disappearing regularly, so it’s worth checking back periodically if you’re hoping to grab one at that price.

Switch 2 Games on Sale for Prime Day

There’s more than enough physical game deals to get stuck into over the Prime Day sales. The biggest standout is probably The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom – which is currently down to $59.99 for Switch 2, and $49.99 for the OG Switch. There’s also a great Lightning deal running on Pokémon Legends: Z-A that drops it to its lowest price ever for the Switch 2 edition.

Some other highlights include Metroid Prime 4: Beyond for $29.99 – which is an outstanding deal. Plus, as I mentioned, it’s $10 to upgrade to Switch 2 Edition, which is a better deal than buying the Switch 2 Edition outright at $44.99 (which is also on sale right now).

There’s also Mario Tennis Fever for $49.99, Resident Evil Requiem for $53.19, Super Mario Odyssey for $39.88, and plenty more to check out right now.

Switch 2 Memory Card for Just $40

At long last, there’s a good deal on a Switch 2 memory card. For Prime Day, Amazon has dropped the price of the highly rated Samsung P9 Micro SDXC Express Card to $39.99 with free shipping.

If you have a Nintendo Switch 2 console, then you should consider getting it now before it goes out of stock. Memory card prices have been through the roof lately.

10% Discount on Nintendo eShop Gift Cards

If your Nintendo Switch library could use a few new additions, or you’re looking for an easy gift for the Nintendo fan in your life, Amazon has brought back one of its most reliable eShop deals just in time for Prime Day.

Right now, the $10 Nintendo eShop Gift Card (Digital Code) is down to just $8.98 at Amazon, saving you 10% on your purchase.

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen this discount, but after disappearing for a while, it’s back ahead of Prime Day and ready for anyone looking to stock up on eShop credit before the biggest sales event of the summer.

LEGO x Nintendo Deals

Amazon Prime Day is generally one of the best times to buy LEGO sets at a discount and 2026 is certainly continuing that trend. Prime Day has only just begun, but Amazon and various other retailers have already started dropping some of the best LEGO deals of the year over the last week.

Target’s LEGO sale went live over the weekend and dropped some of the best LEGO Super Mario deals of 2026 so far. Among these offerings my overall favorite is the LEGO Piranha plant. There’s also the Super Mario World: Mario & Yoshi set on sale, which our LEGO Editor Chris Reed has called his “favorite Nintendo set to date”.

Amazon Resale – Even More Switch 2 Game Deals

But the offers don’t stop for Switch 2 games either, as Amazon is also handing out up to an extra 25% off “Used” products in its Amazon Resale promotion. Most importantly, that includes Switch 2 games like Mario Kart World, Cyberpunk 2077, Donkey Kong Bananza, and more.

I’ll only include “Very Good” and “Like New” condition deals here, but these discounts are so good they are truely hard to ignore.

Switch 2 Game Preorders Are Also $10 Off

Most Switch 2 game preorders are also $10 off at Amazon right now as well, which is a mighty good deal whichever way you look at it. That includes Star Fox (which is out on June 25), Switch Sports Resort, the new Fire Emblem, and plenty more as well.

You don’t have to pay for the game until it ships either (per Amazon standard preorder policy), unlike buying digitally, where you have to cough up the cash right away. So, feel free to preorder and lock in that low price, and simply cancel later on if you change your mind.
