‘Doing It Anyway’: Katty Kay Hosting Confidence Podcast Series

EXCLUSIVE: The Rest is Politics: US co-host Katty Kay is launching a podcast and YouTube series about confidence.

Katty Kay is hosting Doing It Anyway, the latest offering from Gary Lineker’s Goalhanger Entertainment.

Across six episodes, the weekly pod and vodcast will explore how confidence shapes the way we live, work and make choices, with a particular focus on women’s experiences. Bringing together data, psychology and real-life stories, it will unpack how people can build confidence and change the way they approach opportunity, ambition and risk. Guests include author Adam Grant, an organisational psychologist, and Mika Brzezinski, founder of the Know Your Value movement and co-host of Morning Joe. Kay’s Rest is Politics: US co-host Anthony Scaramucci will also make a guest appearance.

Along with spending years studying the art and science of confidence, Kay has written books titled The Confidence Code and Womenomics.

With Scaramucci, she is co-host of The Rest is Politics: US, the American off-shoot of Goalhanger’s hit Rest is Politics pod. She previously anchored much of the BBC’s America coverage and has appeared regularly on the likes of MS Now.

Kay said: “I’ve wanted to do this series for a long time. There are so many things I wish I’d known when I was starting out – the hurdles, failures and fears I’ve had to work through along the way. In these episodes, we’re sharing the best of my research, but also lots of practical advice: how to recognise the obstacles, face them down, and do it anyway.”
