The 10-episode second season of MobLand will premiere globally on Paramount+ on September 18, and today’s new teaser brings Hardy back as Harry, the Harrigan family’s loyal, street-smart fixer, who once again finds the weight of the world on his shoulders as he tries desperately to keep this gangster dynasty from collapsing under the weight of its egos and dysfunction. Season 2’s synopsis states:
In season two of the Paramount+ original series MobLand, the Harrigans struggle to show a unified front as rising rivals threaten their fractured criminal empire – and Harry Da Souza, their street-smart and formidable ‘fixer’, must walk a dangerous tightrope when tensions within the family intensify. As violence spills into every corner of their lives, loyalties snap, safety proves temporary, and the battle for power leaves no room for mercy.

Is Tom Hardy Leaving ‘MobLand’?
For a while, it looked like Hardy was on his way out, following reports of tardiness, bad behavior and a feud with Mirren and Brosnan. However, a PR offensive took place when backlash to Hardy’s departure occurred from fans, with Mirren and Butterworth both stating how much they wanted to keep working with Hardy, while Guy Ritchie was said to have taken a personal hand in the situation to try and mediate. Soon after, Paramount+ officially greenlit MobLand Season 3, with Hardy officially returning and the whole thing looking like a bad dream. And that’s a good thing, because Hardy is the heart and soul of the series, and it wouldn’t be worth continuing without him.
MobLand Season 2 premieres September 18 on Paramount+. The first season is currently available to stream.
