GTA 6 Free Giveaway Announced, Secure A Copy Ahead Of Launch

The wait to play Grand Theft Auto VI is officially shorter than ever before, and excitement from the community is building as we finally get to see what Rockstar has been cooking up over all these years. The big day is officially coming in November, and pre-orders are open now for those who are sure they want to play it on day one.

That said, it’s quite an expensive commitment to make right now compared to buying other games, and it’s totally understandable that there are some who aren’t prepared to take the leap just yet. If you are one of those, there’s another way to get your hands on a copy of the game, as well as another worthwhile GTA-themed prize.

Over on the website Rockstar Intel, the company is running a giveaway where players can get their hands on a free copy of the Ultimate Edition of the game. They have also teamed up with Frame-A-Game to give the same winner a very nice framed copy of GTA: Vice City, if you fancy returning to the older game ahead of the new release.

The process is also very simple this time around, and all you have to do to be in with a chance of winning is to follow both companies on Instagram and repost the competition announcement. From there, you’ll be entered into a draw to potentially win both prizes, which will certainly be a lot cheaper than buying the items outright.

The only potential caveat is that the competition doesn’t run for too long, so if you do want to take part, you’ll need to make sure you do so before July 19. You can also choose whether to receive the game on Xbox Series X or PlayStation 5, so you don’t need to worry about issues with platforms either.

The framed copy of Vice City includes the game disc on a safe display spindle, a copy of the game’s packaging, and a themed background, as well as a silver plaque confirming the game’s title and release date. It’s certainly a lovely display piece, and a great buy for anyone who is a longtime fan of the franchise.

Other than that, it’s simply a case of sitting tight and waiting to hear more from Rockstar about the upcoming release of GTA VI. We should certainly be getting another trailer soon, at the very least, so hopefully that arrives before the Summer is out.
