While Prime Video continues to build out its live-action adaptation of Rebecca Yarros‘ fantasy epic Fourth Wing and her best-selling Empyrean novels, Apple TV isn’t sitting idly by. Deadline has reported that the streamer has pre-emptively scooped up the rights to the author’s next book, Peculiar Stars, to adapt into its own series backed by Yarros’ Full Measures Productions banner. Apple emerged out of a competitive field of producers and studios all clamoring to get their hands on the romance book before it hits store shelves on November 17. A search is now underway to find the writer who will tackle the acclaimed author’s work, while Yarros executive produces.
