The ‘Live PD’ Gang Reunites as Tom Morris Jr. Joins ‘On Patrol: Live’

[

On Patrol: Live has fulfilled its destiny to fully become Live PD.

Tom Morris Jr., the former co-host and analyst on A&E’s Live PD, is set to reunite with Dan Abrams and Sgt. Sean “Sticks” Larkin on Reelz‘s On Patrol: Live. Morris Jr. will officially re-join the team as a co-host/analyst on July 31.

Abrams is a legit media mogul at this point, and Larkin is a retired Tulsa Police Department lieutenant with more than 25 years of service. The rest of the On Patrol: Live on-air team includes analysts Captain Tom Rizzo (ret.) of the Howell Township Police Department in New Jersey and Deputy Sheriff Curtis Wilson of the Richland County Sheriff’s Department in Columbia, South Carolina. The show also has a rotating panel of other experts as needed. (They may be less needed now.)

“Reuniting with Dan and Sticks is so special for me! We have always been more to each other than just professional colleagues,” Morris Jr. said in a statement. “We are truly friends for life and have remained in close contact over the years. I’m looking forward to kicking it on set with Curtis and Rizzo too. Onward and upward, OP Nation!”

“I am thrilled to be working with Tom again, not just for his law enforcement insight but because he brings humor and humanity to his analysis,” Abrams said. “It’s great to have the team back together.”

On Patrol: Live follows live news-gathering protocols with 50-plus cameras in communities across the country, documenting for viewers in real time the nightly work of law enforcement officers on patrol. The show airs every Friday and Saturday night from 9 p.m. to 12 a.m. ET on Reelz. On Patrol: First Shift airs before each live episode (at 8 p.m. ET), providing recaps and updates on previous episodes.

On Patrol: Live is produced by Half Moon Pictures for Reelz. Executive producers are Abrams, Dan Cesareo, John Zito, Lucilla D’Agostino, Paul Gordon and Joe Venafro.

Morris Jr. is a former audio technician, camera operator and field producer who became an antiterrorism contractor for the U.S. State Department. Yes, that old story. In 1993, Morris Jr. joined America’s Most Wanted. In addition to Live PD, Morris Jr.’s other television work includes A&E’s Wanted and Fugitives Caught on Tape, as well as appearances on CNN, Discovery ID and Oxygen. Morris Jr. is a Washington, D.C., Special Police Officer with loads of private security work under his belt.
