Eric McCormack Set For Psychological Drama ‘You’re Safe Here’

EXCLUSIVE: Emmy winner Eric McCormack is starring in You’re Safe Here, a psychological drama from writer Jess Mastro (Underrated) and director Nimisha Mukerji (Under The Bridge, 911).

McCormack is joined by Anja Savcic (Loudermilk, Big Sky), Jesse Rath (Supergirl, Defiance), and Bo Martynowska (Nancy Drew, Designated Survivor). 

A character-driven psychological drama, You’re Safe Here is an aching portrait of loneliness, mortality, and the monstrous forms love can take. Production is taking place in Toronto, Ontario.

McCormack played Will Truman for 246 episodes on NBC’s Will & Grace, and was nominated for multiple awards, winning the Emmy for Lead Actor in a Comedy in 2001. He most recently starred in MGM+/Sony Studios Nine Dead Bodies in a Mexican Morgue, as well as the Hulu series The Other Black Girl. The recipient of a star on Canada’s Walk of Fame and the Hollywood Walk of Fame, McCormack has played lead roles in dozens of films and TV series, including Netflix hit, Travelers, where he also served as a director and producer, Trust Me, and TNT’s Perception. On stage, he recently starred in The Cottage on Broadway, following acclaimed performances in The Music Man, The Best Man, and Some Girl(s).

Mastro is known for her work on The Dutchman, The Black Sea, and Underrated. Mastro is currently the Head of Development at The Launch Company.
