Accumulating over 76 million views and ranking as one of Netflix’s top-watched English-language shows of that year, there was no surprise when the laugh-a-minute, punch-packing crime series was greenlit for a second installment.
This second season of The Gentlemen is set to hit Netflix on September 3, with Theo James‘ (The White Lotus) Eddie Horniman and Kaya Scodelario‘s (Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales) Susie Glass set to take their criminal empire to Italy, only to find Italian crime boss Marco Moretti (Sergio Castellitto) in their way. There is no doubt that The Gentlemen Season 2 is one of the most hotly anticipated returning shows of 2026, and Paramount+ has just acquired the perfect way to get you in the mood.

Alexandre Aja, the name behind the French slasher film High Tension and the divisive Piranha 3D, directed Crawl, which was co-produced by horror legend Sam Raimi. Dubbed “terrifying,” “exciting,” and “action-packed” by critics, this clever creature feature was a sleeper success when it first released and regularly finds itself in the streaming charts.

How Much Did ‘Crawl’ Make at the Box Office?
So Crawl was a quiet hit with critics and audiences when it debuted in 2019, but could that translate to box office success? The answer is yes, with the movie turning a reported budget of $17 million into an impressive $91.7 million worldwide, split between a domestic haul of $39 million and a further $52.7 million from overseas markets. The movie opened at #3 at the North American box office, falling short of the top spot because of the huge blockbusters Toy Story 4and Spider-Man: Far From Home.
