Kara Robinson Chamberlain To Host True-Crime Series For Freeform

Freeform is delving back into the depths of true-crime.

The Disney-owned network has greenlit Somebody Knows Something, a series about unsolved missing persons cases, hosted by true-crime influencer and kidnapping survivor Kara Robinson Chamberlain.

The series, which launches on August 10, will follow Chamberlain as she investigates unsolved murders and missing persons cases that have stumped law enforcement and haunted internet sleuths for decades.

Somebody Knows Something will feature eight episodes with one case per ep. They include the disappearance of five-month-old baby Sabrina Aisenberg, the case of Colorado teen Lashaya Stine, Steven Koecher, who abandoned his car in a Nevada cul-de-sac nearly two hours from his Utah home, Kevin McGrath, who went missing from a Carnival cruise, second grader Kyron Horman who was lost at a science fair, the murder of Liz Barraza at a garage sale, the disappearance of distance runner Amy Wroe Bechtel while jogging in the Wyoming mountains, and Brandy Hall, who vanished after leaving the Malabar Fire Station.

Each episode concludes with a direct appeal to viewers for more information.

Freeform is behind true-crime docs including five-part series Sasha Reid and the Midnight Order and ten-part series How I Escaped My Cult. Episodes will be available on Hulu the next day.
