Stardew Valley is the gift that keeps on giving, and it’s already announced another treat coming in 2027. While the indie farming game is now over a decade old, it’s still sensationally popular, in large part thanks to the long string of free updates delivered by solo developer ConcernedApe (with some assistance). Now, it’s getting a new release for another platform.
As revealed by Fangamer on X, a Nintendo Switch 2 edition of Stardew Valley will release on February 5, 2027, including the complete game on a Switch 2 cartridge and other physical goodies. The game can be preordered now for $39, although it won’t ship for a matter of months.
