Quest Marks, Former Bravo Marketer, Joins The Shop as VP, Creative

Quest Marks, a veteran marketing executive who had a hand in promoting some of Bravo‘s best-known programs, is joining The Shop, an entertainment-marketing boutique that helps devise trailers and promotional campaigns for some of the sector’s biggest venues.

Marks will serve as vice president of creative, and will work across both TV and theatrical clients. He will also help build out The Shop’s social and digital capabilities.

“The Shop absolutely loved working with Quest during his time at Bravo,” said Jordan Hayman, founder of The Shop, in a prepared statement. “He’s an exceptional creative, so bringing Quest in was a no-brainer for us It provides us more senior leadership that’s imperative to our growth.”

The company has in recent months helped devise promotional video for Apple TV’s “Down Cemetery Road”; Netflix’ “Love Is Blind”; Hulu’s “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives”; the return of “Scrubs” to Disney’s ABC; and Bravo’s “Below Deck.”

Marks worked for 20 years at NBCUniversal, most recently as vice president of creative marketing at Bravo. As part of his remit, he worked closely with the network’s social team on creative for Bravo’s social video content while continuing to lead its on-air promotion strategy. He was previously senior creative director, on-air promotion at Bravo. During his time at the network, Marks worked on the award winning “Summer By Bravo” brand campaign and helped shape BravoCon and Bravo FanFest, the network’s fan convention properties. He recently led creative for the launch of “The Real Housewives of Rhode Island, “the newest entry in the “Real Housewives” franchise.

Marks will report to partners Hayman and Nick Shakarian.
