Not content with bringing us the explosive first trailer for MobLand, Paramount+ has decided that, with such a huge hit on their hands, they wanted to make it as easy as possible for new fans to discover the series before its explosive second season arrives next month. After last year’s incredible arrival, when MobLand debuted to record-breaking numbers for the streamer, Paramount knows this is a hit and now they want everyone to see it.
Beginning August 18, the complete first season of MobLand will be available to stream free through Paramount+’s Free Content Hub, before later expanding on August 31 when all the episodes will then become free to watch via Pluto TV, Paramount+ channels on Amazon, Apple and Roku, as well as Paramount+’s official YouTube channel, remaining available through September 30. Basically, it’ll be almost impossible for you to not find somewhere to watch this for free.
The series follows the Harrigan crime family’s loyal fixer, Harry Da Souza (Tom Hardy), who has faithfully served Pierce Brosnan‘s Conrad Harrigan and Helen Mirren‘s Maeve Harrigan for a number of years. But as rival gangs and warring factions threaten the Harrigans from outside, while their own dysfunction fractures them from within, Harry has a fight on his hands to keep the family together. The official synopsis states:
Season two sees the Harrigans struggle to show a unified front as rising rivals threaten their fractured criminal empire – and Harry Da Souza, their street-smart and formidable ‘fixer’, must walk a dangerous tightrope when tensions within the family intensify. As violence spills into every corner of their lives, loyalties snap, safety proves temporary, and the battle for power leaves no room for mercy.
