Foundation: Aromabloom Officially Announced For Galactic Frontier Season 2

Apple TV’s incredible new space opera adaptation of Isaac Asimov’s Foundation has done an excellent job at adapting the source material’s grandiose scale, taking just the right amount of artistic license without sacrificing the world-building and character development that made the books so iconic. After three seasons, the show has garnered a massive audience and successfully welcomed an entire new generation of fans into the galaxy.

While we still don’t know exactly when Foundation will be returning for its next season, it’s confirmed that Season 4 is currently in development and is likely to arrive sometime next year. However, if you’re a longtime Foundation enthusiast looking for something to fill the void, the announcement of Aromabloom will come as a welcome surprise and will be available in the coming weeks (via X).

Aromabloom is a newly announced Trade War event for Foundation: Galactic Frontier that is officially set to arrive after the newest season releases in the coming weeks. It’s described as a new battle for your Commerce Guild that is triggered after reaching 100% Chest Analysis Progress in-game.

Players are tasked to “defend your Commerce Guild Hub against waves of Raiders, Smugglers, Pulse Disruptors, and Elite Raiders … [and] protect the chest and stop the Smugglers from escaping with the loot.” The event will be available after Season 2’s launch, which is occurring throughout the month of August depending on your specific server.

Rewards are distributed based on how well you defend your chest during the event, with better items being awarded the higher your chest integrity ends up. It’s a roughly 30-minute encounter that can be repeated multiple times to work toward the highest SS-tier rating and earn the best rewards.

Foundation: Galactic Frontier is also currently in the midst of its new Navigation Day (aka Beacon Fest) event, which runs from August 19 to September 1 (depending on your server) and includes several different activities in the game that reward various unique loot.
