Apple iPad mini 8.5-inch (2026) review: One-minute review

It’s been a long time coming, but Apple has finally addressed more than a few people’s wish lists with its latest-generation iPad mini. Yes, it’s still the smallest iPad in terms of display size, not price, but this upgrade is really about the sum of its parts.

The jump to OLED is the headline upgrade, and paired with a thinner, lighter build and plenty of performance under the hood, it makes a big, big difference.
