The Chase Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card’s new welcome offer has the same spending requirement as the previous offer, but you can earn an additional 20,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points. The extra points are worth at least $250 in travel, so if you’ve considered applying for this card, now is a great time to act.

After meeting the Ink Business Preferred’s $8,000 minimum spending requirement, you’ll have at least 128,000 Chase points in your account. You can cash those points out for $1,280 or redeem them for the same value in gift cards.

You can boost the value you receive by using your Chase points to pay for travel you book through Chase TravelSM because you’ll get a 25% boost in value with the Ink Business Preferred. This allows you to book $1,600 in flights, hotels, car rentals, cruises and more with your points.

There are also 14 Chase Ultimate Rewards 1:1 transfer partners you’ll have access to as an Ink Business Preferred cardholder. By taking advantage of the best each travel partner offers, you can dramatically increase the value of your Chase points. You could transfer 120,000 points to Air Canada Aeroplan and book a round-trip business-class flight (under 4,000 miles each way) from the U.S. to Europe on a Star Alliance airline such as United or Lufthansa. This type of ticket could easily cost $3,000 or more when paying with cash.

    Who’s eligible for this offer?

To have the best chance at being approved for the Ink Business Preferred, you’ll need a good to excellent credit score. It’s also a small business card, so you’ll need some sort of business to qualify. However, that doesn’t mean it needs to be a full-time business, you may be eligible with a side hustle or freelance gig. For more details on how to apply, take a look at our guide on how to apply for a Chase business credit card.

Chase also has an unofficial 5/24 rule and if you have opened five or more credit cards from any bank in the past 24 months, you’re less likely to be approved for a new Chase credit card.
