    Quant Mutual Fund among top five AUM gatherers in 3 years: Sandeep Tandon

    Quant Mutual Fund has been able to capture market share, particularly in the smallcap and midcap segments, by around 50-60% in the last few months, Sandeep Tandon, CEO of Quant Mutual Fund told ET Now in an interview.

    According to Tandon, over the past few months, the fund house has consistently maintained this performance, demonstrating robust growth.

    The fund house has not only thrived in the short term but has also emerged as one of the top three to five asset under management (AUM) gatherers and folio gatherers over the last three years. This consistency in performance has firmly positioned Quant Mutual Fund among the leading players in the market.

    “I think we get a very sizable. If you really look at last few months’ data, we were one of the biggest player in terms of market share, in a smallcap we were getting as high as 50-60% also, midcap also, smallcap also,” said Tandon in the interview.

    He added, “So, we have been gaining market share and it is not only last few months. We have emerged as a top three or top five AUM gatherer and top five folio gatherer in the last three years. So, it has been consistent, for last three years we have emerged in that category.”


    The assets under management of Quant Mid Cap Fund have surged 5,340% from Rs 172 crore in August 2021 to Rs 9,367 crore in August 2024. The AUM of Quant Small Cap Fund had surged by 2,342% from Rs 1,045 crore in August 2021 to Rs 25,534 crore in August 2024.     Quant Liquid Plan and Quant Infrastructure Fund saw an outflow of Rs 114 crore and Rs 112 crore, respectively. Quant PSU Fund saw an outflow of Rs 25 crore in August. Quant Small Cap Fund received the highest inflow in August of around Rs 1,005 crore.
