    Apollo Hospitals Q3 Results: PAT jumps 52% YoY to Rs 372 crore, revenue rises 14%; Rs 9 per share dividend declared

    Leading hospital chain Apollo Hospitals‘ net profit jumped 52% year-on-year (YoY) to Rs 372 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2024, while revenues rose 14% YoY to Rs 5,527 crore.

    The company’s board has also declared an interim dividend of Rs 9 per share and fixed February 15 as the record date for the same.

    The dividend would be paid to eligible shareholders on or before February 28.

    EBITDA during the third quarter showed 24% YoY growth at Rs 762 crore.

From Mumbai to Varanasi and Chennai to Gurugram, we are committed to ensuring that quality healthcare is not a privilege but a fundamental right for all,” said Prathap C Reddy, Chairman, Apollo Hospitals.

    Segment-wise, healthcare revenues increased 13% YoY to Rs 2,785 crore, resulting in a profit growth of 21% YoY to Rs 348 crore. EBITDA for the business jumped 14% YoY to Rs 671 crore.As of December 2024, Apollo Hospitals had 7,996 operating beds across the network (excluding AHLL & managed beds). The overall occupancy for hospitals was at 68% vs 66% in the same period in the previous year, aided by a strong increase in patient flows across hospitals.For the Apollo Health and Lifestyle business, revenues recorded a growth of 15% YoY at Rs 389 crore. Within this, diagnostics revenue stood at Rs 121 crore and Spectra at Rs 68 crore.

    EBITDA for the segment rose 32% at YoY to Rs 34.2 crore, while the loss narrowed at Rs 8 crore.

    Apollo HealthCo, which is the digital healthcare and omnichannel pharmacy platform, offline pharmacy distribution revenues stood at Rs 208 crore in the third quarter, while revenues from the digital platform were at Rs 274 crore. Overall HealthCo revenues rose 15% YoY to Rs 2352 crore.

    About 132 net new stores were opened in this quarter, taking the total number to 6,360 stores. The GMV of Apollo 24/7 at Rs 760 crore in Q3FY25, showing growth of 11% YoY.

    The company said its strategic partnership with Microsoft is accelerating the Al-driven healthcare transformation, including innovation in disease progression, and genomics. It is on track to add 3,512 beds across 11 locations over 3 to 4 years beginning FY26.

    On Monday, Apollo Hospitals shares gained marginally to Rs 6,792.9 crore on NSE.
