Amanda Batula Out Of ‘Summer House’ After 9 Seasons

Amanda Batula is not returning to Summer House Season 11 after nine seasons as a full-time cast member on the Bravo reality series, Deadline has learned.

Batula’s exit from the show comes after her romantic involvement with fellow cast member Westling Wilson, who will also not be returning to the summer series.

Although Batula was featured on the first season of Summer House, she didn’t officially join the cast until Season 2 in 2018 as Kyle Cooke’s girlfriend. Throughout her time on the show, Batula experienced the ups and downs of her relationship with Cooke, which included multiple cheating allegations on his part. Eventually, Batula moved past Cooke’s indiscretions and married him in 2021.

Marriage for Batula and Cooke was not easy, as problems persisted, culminating in a separation announced in January of this year. Weeks after Batula announced she had separated from her estranged husband, rumors started swirling that she was now dating her co-star Westling Wilson. Although Batula and Wilson initially denied the rumors, they eventually confirmed they were together.

The confirmation that Batula and Wilson were dating shook the Bravoverse to its core, as that relationship broke some other long-standing friendships. Wilson was previously linked romantically to co-star Ciara Miller, who was Batula’s closest confidant on Summer House. Season 10 of the series showcased how outstanding a friend Miller was to Batula as she experienced marital woes with Cooke. The most recent season also revealed that Wilson flirted with Miller throughout the summer, raising her hopes for a possible reconciliation, only to hook up with her best friend months later.

Batula’s exit from Summer House doesn’t mean she’s completely out of Bravo, as she is one of the stars of the spinoff series In the City, which hasn’t been picked up for a second season yet. The spinoff featured multiple Summer House cast members as they live their lives in New York City. Batula’s inaugural season storyline centered on her falling out with Cooke and how she started a life for herself as an independent woman. However, that storyline quickly became outdated as real life worked faster than Bravo editors and programmers.

TMZ was the first to report Batula’s Summer House departure.
